Co-op & Intern Programs

The Co-operative Education Program is a mutually beneficial way to train and develop individuals to meet this need.

The Co-op Experience

Your work assignments are one of the most important factors contributing to your success as a co-op. You will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned in school, and get a general idea of what a career in your field is all about. Your co-op experience at TTC will definitely be a great opportunity for you and your future. Please be aware that all of us involved in the program - TTC, the university, your department and the human resources department are committed to your having an educational, meaningful, and productive experience.

Students must be enrolled in an educational program at a college or university combining study in a participating education institution with work at TTC. Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better out of a possible 4.0 or the equivalent.

Co-op students will receive a planned work assignment that may or may not include rotations through different TTC department.

Students receive a competitive salary which is paid twice a month. They are eligible for vacation which is accrued on a monthly basis. They are also eligible for holiday pay if they work the day before and the day after the holiday.

At the conclusion of the co-op assignment, students are required to give a presentation highlighting results of their assignment or project to senior management.
