Founded in California in 1977, Toyota Technical Center (TTC) is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan. TTC is a comprehensive Toyota research and development arm with operations in Michigan, California, Arizona and Washington DC. Today, TTC is a dynamic company that conducts automotive R&D work in everything from the testing and evaluation of US parts and material to emissions certification and technical research.

TTC is also playing an increasingly important role in the design-engineering and development of Toyota products, particularly those developed for the North American market.
