Toyota Canada Inc.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) oversees Toyota, Lexus, and Scion sales, marketing, parts and service operations in Canada. TCI zone offices coordinate Toyota vehicle sales, parts, and services for dealerships in ten provinces and one of three territories. There are 247 Toyota, 37 Lexus and 88 Scion dealerships across Canada. Established in 1964, TCI is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario with zone offices in Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec.
Canadian Autoparts Toyota, Inc.
CAPTIN is responsible for die design, development and manufacturing of aluminum wheel products for Toyota. Established in 1983, CAPTIN has a manufacturing plant in Delta, British Columbia.
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc.
Established in 1986, TMMC has manufacturing plants in Cambridge and in Woodstock, Ontario. The Cambridge plant builds the Corolla, Matrix and Lexus RX 350, and the Woodstock plant builds the RAV4, and RAV4 EV for the North American market. TMMC Cambridge is the only plant outside of Japan to produce Lexus vehicles. Production of the Lexus RX 450h begins in early 2014.
Toyota Credit Canada Inc.
TCCI provides wholesale and retail financial services for Toyota, Lexus, Hino and Subaru dealers and their customers across Canada. Established in 1990, TCI is headquartered in Markham, Ontario with branch offices in British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec.
Cold Research Centre
Toyota’s first cold-weather facility outside of Japan, this Research and Development facility and the operation of Toyota products in sub-zero conditions. Built by TCI in 1998, this facility is located in Timmins, Ontario.
Hino Motors Canada, Ltd.
A consolidated subsidiary of Hino Motors in Japan, a subsidiary of Toyota. HMC assembles, markets and sells Hino light and medium-duty trucks in Canada. A Toyota Group company since 2001, HMC is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario with regional sales offices in Alberta and Quebec. In May 2006, Hino opened an assembly plant in Woodstock, Ontario.
Motor Sales de México, S. de R.L. de C.V.
Toyota Motor Sales de México is responsible for sales, marketing, distribution and service operations for Toyota vehicles in Mexico. There are currently 63 dealerships in Mexico. Toyota Motor Sales de México is headquartered in Mexico City and was established in 2001.
Toyota Financial Services México S.A. de C.V.
Toyota Financial Services México provides finance products to Toyota dealers and their customers. Toyota Financial Services México is headquartered in México City, México and began operation in 2002.
Toyota Motor Manufacturing de Baja California, S. de R.L. de C.V.
TMMBC builds Tacoma pickup trucks and Tacoma truck beds. The truck beds are used in production at TMMBC and at TMMTX. TMMBC was established in 2002 and has a manufacturing plant in Baja California, Mexico.
Toyota de Puerto Rico, Corp.
TDPR is responsible for the importation and distribution of Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles. TDPR manages vehicle sales, parts and service operations, and brand marketing, among other functions. There are 24 Toyota dealerships (two located in the United States Virgin Islands), of which nine are authorized Scion dealers and two Lexus dealers. Established in 1994, TDPR is headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
