Philanthropy
In 2005, Toyota donated $2 million to the Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation. We are proud to play a role in commemorating his life and work by contributing to the national memorial being built in America's Capitol. In addition, we hope to build awareness of Dr. King's significant contributions to diversity in the United States by displaying a touring model of the memorial across several of our U.S. operations.
Toyota's philanthropic success stories in multicultural communities throughout the U.S. expand across nearly every sector of the population.
A number of significant and well-founded civic, social, business, professional and community organizations that we are proud to partner with include, but are not limited to:
- American Indian College Fund
