African American Initiative for Math/Science
This University of Cincinnati initiative features a five-year program devoted to educating chosen African American high school students from urban school districts to become math and science teachers. The goal is to help provide them with the skills needed to work with inner-city schools. So far, Toyota has contributed $500,000 in scholarships.
