These are the only security systems that meet Toyota's strict standards and are designed to work with the factory keyless entry system (if equipped).

Arming Features

• Remote Keyless Entry & Arm/Disarm — pressing the remote automatically locks/unlocks the doors and activates/deactivates the alarm.
• Automatic Arm/Rearm — automatically arms the VIP system when you exit the vehicle, and rearms the system if no door or hatch has been opened after remote disarming.
• Passive Disarming — disarms VIP system if ignition key is used (this feature is not available for vehicles equipped with the Smart Key System).
• Arming Notifications — VIP systems communicate with you by “chirping” and flashing the exterior lights to signify the vehicle is armed or disarmed.
• Water-Resistant Remote — the remote control can withstand short-term contact with water.

• Point-of-Entry Protection — if a door, trunk or hatch is forcibly opened without a key, the alarm is sounded.
• Hot-Wire & Starter Protection — if someone tampers with the ignition switch, the alarm is sounded and the ignition is disabled. In fact, once the alarm sounds, the starter motor is also disabled.
• Forced Lock Protection — the system automatically relocks the doors after the alarm has sounded.
• Rolling Code Protection — the “brains” of the system use what is known as “rolling code” technology that defends the VIP system from code grabbers.
• Advanced Warning Protection — LED display and Glass Breakage Sensor.

Personal Protection

• Panic Button — allows you to activate the VIP alarm via the keyless remote control. When pushed, it sounds the horn and flashes the lights to draw attention to you and the vehicle.
