Drive Safer with Hands Free In Car Navigation & Calling

While the safest choice may be to avoid calls altogether while on the road, hands-free calling and voice navigation may be the next best thing. Toyota's available multimedia systems featuring Entune™ include voice recognition technology to help you perform many common functions without ever having to take your hands off the wheel –so you can better concentrate on the road ahead.
Voice recognition gives you control over the following functions:

Your Phone. Taking your eyes off the road to dial is never a good decision. With hands-free calling in your car, you can say the number or the contact name that you want to connect with. Much like the apps on your mobile phone, Entune™ requires a connection to the Internet in order to send and receive data. Conveniently, your smartphone’s data plan provides the perfect go-anywhere connectivity you need to connect your Entune™-equipped Toyota to the world. Even though you need a smartphone to use Entune™, you do not need a smartphone to use Bluetooth® hands-free phone, Bluetooth® streaming audio, or the navigation system (if your vehicle is equipped).

Your Navigation. Where would you like to go? Toyota’s hands-free, in-car voice navigation system is happy to help you get there. You can safely locate a destination by address or point of interest by using the convenient touchscreen before you leave, or by voice recognition once you’re on the road. You can choose from three different route preferences and even search for points of interest nearby, along a route, or at a destination. To make it even more convenient, all guided routes are saved, so you can pull them up again at a later time if needed.

Your Multimedia. Premium HDD Navigation with Entune™ and JBL® systems include a voice recognition system that lets you power multimedia functions like Bing™ POI Search, fuel prices, stocks, sports, NavTraffic™ and NavWeather™.

With hands-free calling, voice navigation and effortless access to your favorite media, it’s easier than ever to stay a little safer on the road.
