Search with Bing^™

Bing™ lets you search among more than 16 million points of interest. Then you can easily navigate to a desired location or call a business directly with the touch of a button (with a paired and Internet-connected phone).

Note: "Press" refers to hard buttons on the sides of the screen; "Touch" refers to the display screen (phone or multimedia system).

Search at Current Position

Phone must be paired and connected to Internet services. If it is not, please go to Pair a Phone to find out how to connect Internet services.

1. Press APPS hard button on the faceplate.
2. Touch Bing™.
3. Select Search Area: At Current Position or Enter Search Word. You can also search by Categories.
4. If At Current Location is selected, you can change the search parameters to search At Destination, or at a specific city or by map
5. Touch At Destination, City [Define City] or City [From Map] to reset the desired search.
6. Touch Enter Search Word to search at current position
7. Use the touchscreen to enter the desired search term (i.e., coffee)
8. Touch OK
9. Screen will then display results sorted by relevance or location
10. Select a desired search result to display address and phone number
11. Touch Details for more information, including address, website, and distance to location
12. Touch the phone icon to call desired location
13. Touch Start to begin navigation

Note: Searching is only available when the vehicle is stopped.

Search by Category

1. Phone must be paired and connected to Internet services. If it is not, please go to Pair a Phone to find out how to connect Internet services.
2. Press APPS hard button on the faceplate
3. Touch Bing™
4. Select specific category to search. Category search will be in last city defined in search parameters. To change the city, see Search at Current Position
5. Screen will then display results sorted by relevance or location
6. Select a desired search result to display address and phone number
7. Touch Details for more information, including address, website, and distance to location
8. Touch the phone icon to call desired location
9. Touch Start to begin navigation
