For new owners of Entune™ [5]-equipped Toyota vehicles, the troubleshooting section of this site will help you with targeted answers to specific questions you may have regarding using Entune™ [5].

Registration

I'm unable to sign in to the Entune™ Website for the first time

Possible Issue

Resolution

You have not yet created your Entune™ account.

Create an Entune™ account. Choose one of the ways described below.
Either
  • Locate the Entune™ activation email Toyota sent soon after your vehicle purchase
  • Click the activation link
  • Follow the on-screen instructions
Or

You did not respond to the activation email that was sent when you set up your Entune™ account.

I'm unable to sign in to the Entune™ Website after having signed in previously as the primary account holder

Possible Issue

Resolution

You entered incorrect account information.

Double-check the email address and password you entered on the Website are the same ones used when you set up the Entune™ account, then try signing in again.

You forgot your password.

The primary account holder deleted your Entune™ account.

The primary user must create a new Entune™ secondary account for you.

I’m unable to sign in to the Entune™ Website after having signed in previously as a secondary account holder

Possible Issue

Resolution

You entered incorrect account information.

Double-check the email address and password you entered on the Website are the same ones used when you set up the Entune™ account, then try signing in again.

You forgot your password.

The primary account holder deleted your Entune™ account.

The primary user must create a new Entune™ secondary account for you.

The Entune™ Website doesn't remember my sign in information

Possible Issue

Resolution

You did not check the box for Remember me on this computer.

While you are on the Entune™ Website sign in page, check the box for Remember me on this computer before clicking Sign In.

Your Web browser is not accepting cookies.

Set your browser preferences to accept cookies from myentune.com

You recently deleted your browser history or browser cache.

Manually enter your sign in information once again (make sure Remember me on this computer is checked), then the browser should remember you

I can't get to the Entune™ Website from Toyota.com

Possible Issue

Resolution

Your browser has Javascript turned off.

Enable Javascript and try again.

I can't locate my account information on the Entune™ Website

Possible Issue

Resolution

You may be on a different page in the Entune™ Website.

Navigate to the My Account page.

You may be on Toyota Owners Online.

Visit myentune.com and sign in to access your Entune™ information.

I can't add a secondary user or users

Possible Issue

Resolution

You have already created four secondary users.

An Entune™ account supports four secondary users. If you already have four secondary users, you'll have to delete one secondary user before adding a new one.

You are a secondary user.

Ask the primary account holder to create a secondary user.

You have two Entune™-equipped vehicles registered under the same Entune™ account and you already have four secondary users.

Create a primary account for the second vehicle. Each vehicle can then have four secondary users.

I can't register for Entune™

Possible Issue

Resolution

You previously created an account using the same email address.

Either
  • Locate the activation email Toyota sent soon after your purchase
  • Click the activation link in the email
Or

You used the same email address to register as a secondary user on another Entune™ account.

Either
  • Register using a different email address
Or

Your vehicle is not equipped with Entune™.

You must have an Entune™-equipped vehicle in order to register for Entune™ services.

I don't see my vehicle listed in my Entune™ account

Possible Issue

Resolution

You may be on a different page in the Entune™ Website.

Navigate to the My Vehicles page.

You accidentally transferred your vehicle to another person's Entune™ account.

Add the vehicle back to your account
After that, the vehicle will be removed from the other user's account.

You accidentally deleted your vehicle.

Add the vehicle back to your account.

I can't change my account information on the Entune™ Website

Possible Issue

Resolution

You are updating one email address to another one that is already in use.

The same email cannot be used by multiple accounts. Either choose a different email address for one of the accounts or delete the other account that uses the same email address.

You are updating a password.

In the Edit Account window, enter the old and new password twice where requested. If the new passwords don’t match exactly, the update will not take place.

You are pressing only the space bar in one of the information fields.

Either enter real information in the fields or make them completely empty.

You are using a non-US address.

The Entune™ Website accepts only US addresses.
