For new owners of Entune™ [5]-equipped Toyota vehicles, the troubleshooting section of this site will help you with targeted answers to specific questions you may have regarding using Entune™ [5].

Secondary Accounts

I never received my invitation to register as a secondary user

Possible Issue

Resolution

Your email program treated the invitation email as spam.

Make sure you define as safe all email from myentune.com. Ask the primary account holder to first delete the existing invitation, then create and send a new invitation. Verify the primary user is sending to your correct email account.

The primary user never sent the invitation.

Verify with the primary account hold that the invitation was sent.

I can't send an invitation for someone to become a secondary user

Possible Issue

Resolution

You have four secondary users on that account.

Since you can have four secondary users per account, you have to delete an existing secondary user before sending a new invitation.

The person you are inviting is already attached to a different account.

If the person you are inviting has multiple email addresses, send an invitation to one of the other email addresses. Or, have the person delete the other Entune™ account associated with the email address to which you are sending the invitation.

You are a secondary user.

Ask the primary account holder to send the invitation.

I can't access MovieTickets.com [1], OpenTable® [1] and/or Pandora® from my secondary account

Possible Issue

Resolution

You do not have accounts on one or more of those Websites.

You must create or have accounts on those Websites to use their apps on Entune™. Each Entune™ user (primary or secondary) links to his or her own personal accounts on those sites.

  • Use your computer's browser to visit the Website(s)
  • Follow that site’s instructions to create an account

Your MovieTickets.com [1] and Pandora® accounts are not linked to your Entune™ account.

Link your accounts to your Entune™ account.

I can't sign in to my secondary account

Possible Issue

Resolution

You may have entered incorrect account information.

Double-check the email and password you just entered are the same ones used when you created your Entune™ account, then try signing in again.

You forgot your password.

The primary account holder deleted your account.

Ask the primary account holder to send you a new invitation.

I bought my own Entune™-equipped vehicle but can't register for service

Possible Issue

Resolution

You are a secondary user on a different account.

Either Or
  • Ask the existing primary account holder to add your vehicle to his/her account. You will then be a secondary user for all vehicles associated with that account.
