iPod® [6]/ USB[7]/ AUX

Connect an iPod® [6]

Connecting an iPod® [6] using the USB port enables users to enjoy music or other iPod® [6] content via the vehicle’s speakers.

Note: "Press" refers to hard buttons on the sides of the screen; "Touch" refers to the display screen (phone or multimedia system).

  1. Open the cover of the USB/AUX port and connect an iPod® [6]
  2. The iPod® [6] will begin playing and song information will be displayed
  3. Touch Source to select an alternate source

Play an iPod® [6]

  1. The title of the album and song you are currently listening to will be displayed, as well as the album art if available
  2. Touch II to pause the track
  3. Touch > to resume playing the track
  4. Press and hold the ∧ SEEK / ∨ TRACK button to fast-forward or rewind. When you release the button, the player will start playing from that position
  5. Press and release the ∧ SEEK / ∨ TRACK button to advance to the next track or go back to the previous track

Connect a USB Device [7]

  1. Open the cover of the USB/AUX port and connect a USB memory device
  2. The actual position of the USB port [7] may differ depending on the vehicle. For details, see the pictorial index of the vehicle Owner’s Manual
  3. Plug in memory device
  4. Music will begin playing

Switch to USB [7] Mode

  1. Press the AUDIO button on the faceplate
  2. Touch the Source tab
  3. Touch USB on the screen

Play USB Memory Device

  1. The song you are currently listening to will be displayed
  2. Touch II to pause the song
  3. Touch > to resume playing the song
  4. Press and hold the ∧ SEEK / ∨ TRACK button to fast-forward or rewind. When you release the button, the player will start playing from that position
  5. Press and release the ∧ SEEK / ∨ TRACK button to advance to the next track or go back to the previous track

Connect an Auxiliary Device

  1. Open the cover of the USB/AUX port and connect an auxiliary cable
  2. Music will play automatically when connected
  3. Or, touch Source or press Audio button
  4. Touch AUX on the screen
  5. Only the volume can be adjusted using the audio system controls. The remaining controls need to be operated on the portable audio device
