Navigation^[11]

Enter any address manually and the guidance system will route you there.

1. Press APPS on the faceplate
2. Touch Map
3. Touch Confirm on safety screen
4. Touch Dest
5. Touch Enter Destination
6. Touch each cell and enter the State, City, Zip, Street, and House Number. Note: Navigation [11] features a smart entry system that will begin suggesting city or street names as soon as you start inputting
7. Touch Calculate Route
8. Touch Preferences
9. Choose Preferred Route, Alternate Route, or Short Route
10. Touch Start to begin route guidance once the navigation system [11] calculates the route

Adding Waypoints allows you to add destinations along your route. Waypoints can only be added if a route has been started.

5. Touch Enter Destination
6. Touch Waypoint
7. Touch the desired method to search the destination
   1. Select From Stored Contacts
   2. Touch Select From Stored Contacts
      1. Select a previously stored contact
      2. Touch Insert Waypoint
      3. The navigation system [11] will recalculate the route and guide you to the waypoint first before the final destination
   3. Select From A Previous Stored Contact
      1. Touch Select from Previous Contact
      2. Select a previously stored contact
      3. Touch Insert Waypoint
      4. The navigation system [11] will recalculate the route and guide you to the waypoint first before the final destination
   4. Select From Phonebook
      1. Touch Select from Phonebook
      2. Touch Search Contact
         1. Enter contact’s name
         2. Touch OK
         3. Touch the note icon next to the name
            1. Touch Show Details
            2. Information about stored contact will be listed
         4. Select the desired entry
         5. If entry has an address, it can be added to the stored destination list
         6. Touch Add to Stored Contacts
         7. Enter address information for contact
         8. Touch Save New Entry

Route must be active in order to detour a segment.

7. Touch desired segment to detour
8. Touch Detour
9. The navigation system [11] will recalculate the route and include the detour

2. Touch Traffic Messages
3. Touch On Route
4. Touch desired segment to detour
5. Touch Detour
6. Touch the listening icon to have the traffic message read out loud. To cancel this function, touch the icon again
7. The navigation system [11] will recalculate the route and include the detour

Route must be active in order to cancel a detour segment. If there is more than one point to cancel, a list will be displayed.

8. Select Detour you want to cancel
9. Touch Detour Off
10. The navigation system [11] will recalculate the route and delete the detour

Route must be active in order to cancel a detour segment. If there is more than one point to cancel, a list will be displayed.

Set up the system so if traffic incidents are detected, the system will automatically add detours to your route.
