Audio Streaming

Note: "Press" refers to hard buttons on the sides of the screen; "Touch" refers to the display screen (phone or multimedia system).

The audio system enables users to enjoy music played on a Bluetooth® [3]-compatible portable player or smartphone from the vehicle’s speakers via wireless communication.

  1. Press the MENU button on the faceplate
  2. Touch Media on the screen
  3. Touch arrow by tabs to BT Audio tab
  4. Touch BT Audio tab (if a Bluetooth® [3] audio device is not connected, connecting Bluetooth® [3] audio screen will automatically appear. Click here to learn how to connect a Bluetooth® [3] device
  5. If the Bluetooth® [3]-capable audio device is paired and connected, audio will begin playing automatically
  6. With Bluetooth® [3] audio, no cable needs to be connected
  7. Touch Connect if no device is connected
  8. Select a portable player to connect
  9. Bluetooth® [3] will connect and music will begin playing
  10. Touch II to pause the track
  11. Touch > to resume playing the track
  12. After a few seconds, screen will revert to navigation map
    1. Press Media to return to audio screen
  13. Press and hold the ∧ SEEK / ∨ TRACK button to fast-forward or rewind. When you release the button, the player will start playing from that position
  14. Press and release the ∧ SEEK / ∨ TRACK button to move forward or back to the next track
  15. Touch the speaker icon to change the sound setup
  16. Use the – or + buttons to adjust the treble, midrange and bass up and down
  17. Touch DSP tab (digital sound processor)
  18. Touch automatic sound levelizer (on/off)
    1. Touch OK to save changes
