Search by Voice Recognition

It is easy to navigate using voice recognition. Voice commands for navigation [11] include:

• Find Nearby POI Category
• Enter an Address
• Go Home

Note: "Press" refers to hard buttons on the sides of the screen; "Touch" refers to the display screen (phone or multimedia system).

Find Nearby POI Category

1. Push voice button on steering wheel
2. Say “Find Nearby [POI Category]” i.e., “Find nearby restaurants”
3. Screen will display a list of desired POI categories
4. Say the corresponding number next to the category
5. Say “Start Guidance” to begin route guidance

Enter an Address

1. Push voice button on steering wheel
2. Say “Enter an Address”
3. Say “Change State” to change to another state
4. Wait for next prompt
5. Say the desired city name to search in that city
6. Wait for next prompt
7. Say the street name
8. Wait for next prompt
9. Say the house number
10. Wait for next prompt

Go Home

1. Push voice button on steering wheel
2. Say “Go Home”
3. Say “Start Guidance” to begin route guidance

At any time you can say “Go Back” to return to the previous screen, or say “Help” to get help with voice commands.
