Using Entune voice Recognition

Your Entune system works with voice recognition technology.

We'll review some important differences between Voice Recognition in Entune, and your Toyota's other hands-free functions.

All Entune apps with voice recognition will feature an illuminated microphone icon in the top of the screen.

If you're in an Entune app such as Bing, just touch that icon. Then speak your query, for instance in Bing say "Coffee Torrance California", in a normal speaking voice.

The Bing search on your Entune system will generate a list of results you can select by touch.

During a hands-free call, your active Entune app, such as Pandora, will pause and mute, while you conclude your phone call, then resume when you hang up.

But remember that pushing the hands-free button on your steering wheel will not engage voice recognition for Entune apps. For that, you always use the microphone or face icon, on upper part of the screen.

So now, you can make use of even faster app services with Entune and voice recognition.
