Phone Settings

Phone must be paired to the multimedia unit in order for phone features to work. If it is not, please go to Pair a Phone to find out how to pair your phone using Bluetooth® [3].

Note: "Press" refers to hard buttons on the sides of the screen; "Touch" refers to the display screen (phone or multimedia system).

Call Volume

  1. Press the SETUP
  2. Touch Phone
  3. Touch Phone Sound Settings
  4. Touch Call Volume to increase or decrease volume of phone calls
    1. Touch - to lower volume
    2. Touch + to raise volume
    3. Touch OK to return to previous screen

Ring Tone Volume

  1. Touch Ring Tone Volume to change ring tone volume
    1. Touch - to lower volume
    2. Touch + to raise volume
    3. Touch OK to return to previous screen

Ring Tone Change

  1. Touch Ring Tone to change tones
  2. Touch tone 1, 2, 3, or 4 to change ring tone
  3. Touch OK
  4. Touch Save
  5. Touch Default to restore the default phone settings
  6. Touch Yes to confirm or No to cancel

Phonebook

  1. Press the PHONE button on the faceplate
  2. Manage Contacts
    1. 1,000-contact limit
    2. Touch Transfer Contacts to transfer contact information from phone to car
  3. Update Contacts
    1. Touch Update Contacts to update contacts
    2. Touch return button to return to previous screen

Automatically Download Contact

  1. Touch Automatically Download Contact
  2. Touch On or Off
  3. Touch Save to save settings

Automatically Download Call History

  1. Touch On or Off
  2. Touch Save to save settings

Manage Speed Dials

  1. Add Speed Dial number
    1. Touch Manage Speed Dials
    2. Maximum of 18 speed dials
    3. Touch New
    4. Touch a desired contact to add to speed dial
    5. Use up/down arrows to select a contact or search by alphabetical shortcuts
    6. Touch selected phone number of contact to save as a speed dial
    7. Touch Speed Dial tab 1, 2 or 3
    8. Touch empty space (1-6)
    9. Speed dial saved
  2. Delete Speed Dial
    1. Touch Delete
    2. Touch speed dial number
    3. Touch Delete
    4. Touch Yes to confirm, No to cancel
    5. Touch Select All to delete all
    6. Touch Delete
    7. Touch Yes to confirm, No to cancel

Delete Call History

  1. Touch Delete Call History
    1. Touch Yes to confirm, No to cancel
