  • Are there additional costs for adding multiple users?
    No. Each Entune® App Suite account can accommodate up to five users. The primary account holder must send invitation emails to the other four users for them to register. Invitation emails can only be sent while logged into your Entune® App Suite account.
  • Do I need a special Toyota application downloaded to my phone?
    Yes, there is a Toyota Entune® App Suite mobile application that you'll need for vehicle integration. Once you've registered online, you can link to your phone's app store to download it.
  • When I register for Entune® App Suite, do I get all the apps and can I add others?
    Once you register, you will have access to all the available Toyota Entune® App Suite mobile applications (Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable®, and Pandora®). You'll need to link your MovieTickets.com, OpenTable® and Pandora® accounts to Entune® App Suite during registration to experience all of their benefits. Currently, these are the only applications available. Stay tuned for updates on future content additions.
  • Can I cancel my access?
    Yes, you can cancel your access at any time. If you paid for service beyond the included three-year trial, it will become effective on your next monthly billing cycle. Included trial services are not refundable.

Daily use of Pandora® or iHeartRadio use large amounts of data and may have an impact on your cellular data plan. You can take a look at the data calculators provided on your cellular carrier's website or speak with your wireless carrier to understand what data plans would fit you the best.
  • Is Entune® App Suite compatible with tablets (e.g iPad®, Microsoft® Xoom and Samsung Galaxy TabTM)?
    No. Entune® App Suite is designed to work specifically with select mobile phones to provide all of its unique features and benefits.
  • Will Entune® App Suite work if my service carrier is not listed on toyota.com/connect?
    Toyota officially supports the phones and providers listed. Some phones not listed will work with Entune® App Suite, but have not been tested by Toyota.
  • If my phone is not currently listed, when will it be tested?
    Toyota is currently conducting an ongoing test schedule of new phone models as they become available. Many phones have been tested, and many will never be tested.
  • Does Entune® App Suite currently support Blackberry® 7 OS?
    Entune® App Suite does not currently support Blackberry® 7 OS, and Toyota does not have any plans in the immediate future to test or support Blackberry® 7 OS.
  • Do I need a special Toyota application downloaded to my phone?

  • How secure is the system? Is it vulnerable to hacking?
    The mobile app is secure, as it requires a connection back to Toyota servers. Anti-hacking measures beyond the app, such as on the handset, are outside of Toyota’s control.
    The security of the system is extremely important to us. We will not allow any apps to appear on the system that are not on the access control list. The system will not take/accept any apps that are not approved by Toyota’s access control list. The system also uses IP security used for the Web today.
  • What is the risk of catching a virus during downloading of the mobile application?
    In general, mobile phones are not targeted for viruses and malware the way personal computers are. Nevertheless, Toyota recommends downloading the Entune® App Suite app only from trusted sources to reduce any risk to the phone. Because Entune® App Suite is a closed system, there is no risk of a viral infection of the vehicle’s electronics.
  • Is Safety Connect® incorporated into Entune® App Suite, or is it separate?
    Safety Connect® is a separate product that provides enhanced safety services. Entune® App Suite integrates multimedia applications and data services through your mobile phone to enhance your in-vehicle experience.
  • Why isn’t the system linked to vehicle diagnostics?
    At this time, Toyota Entune® App Suite is a mobile phone-based application that delivers information and entertainment services to the vehicle. We are constantly looking to add new services and applications our customers desire and are studying vehicle diagnostic integration.
  • Will the Entune® App Suite system be standard equipment?
    Toyota Entune® App Suite7 will be an available option on select models.
  • Can I get the Entune® App Suite system on another manufacturer's vehicle?
    No, the Toyota Entune® App Suite system is a proprietary in-vehicle multimedia system solely owned by Toyota.
  • Will Entune® App Suite be available in the aftermarket to retrofit older vehicles?
    Not at this time.
  • Will it be obsolete when my car is five years old?
    We recognize that a new vehicle is a big investment, and technology is always changing and improving. Toyota created a flexible and adaptable system that offers upgrades for applications, services and mobile devices.
  • Will it be compatible with phones introduced two or three years from now?
    Toyota Entune® App Suite’s software platform is flexible and adaptable to future technologies. It can be upgraded and used with most smartphones with a data plan. We will make regular announcements about new supported phones as they come to market.
