Lower Emissions and a Cleaner Environment
Many of our National Parks need help in facing environmental challenges that inhibit the preservation and protection of our great lands. That's why Toyota has partnered with several National Parks and the Department of Energy's Clean Cities program.
We've donated 20 vehicles to several National Parks to serve as educational touch points for millions of park visitors and help people connect the dots between lower emissions and a cleaner environment.

Old Faithful Visitor Education Center
In July of 2005, Toyota had the opportunity to see the architect's rendering and a concept model of the future Old Faithful Visitor Education Center. We shared ideas and knowledge from our U.S. Green Building experience at Toyota. Several ideas to recycle existing materials and planned re-use of concrete forms will help reduce the potential landfill and reduce costs. If all goes according to schedule, the ground breaking will be in 2006.
