Where is hybrid technology going next? What social and environmental challenges can it help solve? What can I do to help?
The answers are coming to a town near you with the Highway to the Future: Mobile Hybrid Experience. Toyota is taking its green team -- Prius, Highlander Hybrid and Camry Hybrid -- on a road trip throughout the continental U.S. The Mobile Hybrid Experience is bringing fun, interactive and educational exhibits and displays cross-country to increase awareness of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive® technology and its benefits.
The Mobile Hybrid Experience encompasses all aspects of Toyota’s hybrid technology in a relevant, engaging way. In this “museum on wheels,” you’ll find in-car video touch screens and hands-on information about Toyota’s hybrid vehicles, a comparison of hybrid technologies and alternative fuels, and even the chance to take a test-drive (in select locations). Most importantly, you’ll learn which small actions you can take to make a big impact on the environment.

The Mobile Hybrid Experience made its debut appearance at the San Jose Auto Show on January 11–15, 2007. The tour will travel the East and West Coasts and is scheduled to last 18 months. Hopefully, the impact of this experience will last for generations.

For the Highway to the Future: Mobile Hybrid Experience, Toyota sought partners who are dedicated to a more beautiful and healthier world for future generations. Our partnership with the National Arbor Day Foundation® allows attendees to plant a tree in someone’s name while at the event, offsetting carbon emissions from the tour. 3form® provided eco-sensitive resin-based architectural materials that replaced standard display materials. And we’re proud to have the American Lung Association® as a strong supporter of our hybrid technology. For more information about Toyota’s partners, visit:
