JOB DESCRIPTION

The Automotive Technology Trainee program will immerse you in multiple projects and build a strong understanding of the technical aspects of Toyota and Lexus products, as well as current dealer vehicle practices. You will be located at our headquarters in Torrance, California.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
For up to 24 months, you will function as an ATT in the Product Quality Service Support department. During the (up to) four (4) six-month rotations potential assignments could include:
- Product Quality Assurance (Body, Chassis, Electrical, Hybrid Powertrain & Powertrain) - tracking technical issues and seeking resolution
- Technical & Body Training - developing courses for Toyota/Lexus dealership associates
- Accessory Product Quality Assurance - maintaining quality standards for companies producing Toyota/Lexus accessories
- Service Technology - developing/researching special tools for dealership purchase
Qualified candidates have six-to-twelve months of paid technical experience as a dealership technician and are proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Industrial Management or Automotive Service Management is preferred.
CAREER PATH
Based on your acquired knowledge in automotive training, you can gain experience first as a Product Engineer and then a Field Engineer. You can further advance your career by becoming a Project Manager or Senior Engineer.
