You want to blaze a trail? Start here. In Customer Relations, we give talented individuals every opportunity for success. Our entry-level positions begin with comprehensive three-week classroom training. You will learn the ins and outs of Toyota, Lexus and Scion as well as boost your communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This internship is designed as a 12-month program. During the summer months (June, July and August) you will work full-time (40 hours per week).
Based on performance, during the school year, you may be selected to work part-time (12-15 hours per week) on a variable schedule but with a commitment to work every Monday and a possibility of Saturdays. When you have completed your training you will join Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. as a Customer Relations Intern, working in one of three of our world-class call centers. In addition to educating customers about our products and services, you will act as a liaison between Toyota owners, prospective consumers, dealerships, region offices, and headquarters.
Excellent communication, analytical, time management, problem solving, and organizational skills are also a must, as is the ability to multitask and work as part of a team within a professional corporate setting. Attendance and punctuality are essential to this position.
