JOB DESCRIPTION

Our training program turns high-performing professionals into leaders by providing courses in Total Quality Management, Total Parts Logistics, and more. Depending on our business needs, training may be available in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, New York, Cincinnati, Kansas City, and Portland.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
After the 18-month training program and completion of program milestones, you will transition into an Operations Leader position. Not only will you oversee daily activities, but also create strategies to boost morale, employee relations, operational efficiency in receiving, stock maintenance, order filling, shipping, equipment and supply purchasing, safety, and fire prevention. Warehouse associates will look to you for leadership and guidance, and you will ensure a creative, inclusive work environment is maintained in an effort to maximize performance.
Qualified candidates will possess excellent organizational, analytical, management, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ability to work as part of a team and a commitment to customer satisfaction are also necessary. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, or general business is preferred. Supervisory experience, especially in a warehouse environment, is highly desirable.
CAREER PATH
With your Logistics Trainee background and Operations Leader experience, you can assume greater responsibility and different levels of leadership. Typically, after gaining substantial Operations Leader experience, you can pursue an Assistant Operations Manager role.
