In an environment where continuous improvement is at the heart of everything, Vehicle Logistics Trainees will participate fully in an area of operation that encompasses logistics and production. Our training program helps you to amass a broad knowledge in Toyota Production System (TPS), vehicle processing and transportation and Quality System concepts.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Toyota's Vehicle Logistics 18-month training program will provide you with an enhanced understanding of vital areas. Up to three six-month rotations at Vehicle Distribution Center locations may include Logistics, Production and Production Supervision. During your training, you will discover how Toyota Logistics Services (TLS) interfaces with customers and business partners during day-to-day operations. You can witness the keen interplay of the Toyota Production System (TPS) with safety and health, scheduling and planning, quality, vehicle distribution, human resources and leadership. Finally, you'll be given the opportunity to employ the new skills you have acquired throughout the program.

Ideal candidates are proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and possess a high degree of written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Communication, Management Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration is most desirable. Your adaptability to travel and relocation requirements will also come into play.

CAREER PATH

With your vehicle logistics background, you have the potential to advance, to assume greater responsibility at Toyota as a Production Analyst, Production Supervisor, or within another key role at a Vehicle Distribution Center.
