Biography
Darrell Waltrip Motorsports partnered with Toyota in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2004. Established by legendary NASCAR driver and current FOX Sports television analyst Darrell Waltrip, the team will field one full-time Tundra in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this year with drivers Josh Wise and A.J. Allmendinger sharing time in the driver’s seat.
In 2006, Darrell Waltrip Motorsports driver David Reutimann finished third in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series point standings after recording seven top-five and series-high 19 top-10 finishes. Reutimann also collected a pair of pole positions (California Speedway and Dover International Speedway).
In 2005, Darrell Waltrip Motorsports earned its first NCTS victory when Reutimann crossed the finish line first in the Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.
