Biography
Bob, Steve and Rick Germain joined forces with Don Arnold in 2004 to form Germain/Arnold Racing. The team made its debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Toyota at Richmond International Raceway.
In 2005, the Germain brothers took over sole possession of the race team, and Bodine rejoined the team beginning at the June Milwaukee race. In 15 races with Bodine behind the wheel, Germain Racing registered five wins, four second place finishes and a third-place.
In 2006, the team added Ted Musgrave, the 2005 NCTS champion, to the lineup. Together, Bodine and Musgrave registered three wins, 22 top-five finishes and both drivers finished in the the top-six of the final point standings. Bodine captured the NCTS driver’s championship — the first national NASCAR championship for the Bodine family and Germain Racing.
Germain Motor Company currently owns and operates 16 automotive dealerships in Columbus, Ohio; Naples, Fla.; and Sarasota, Fla. Germain has been associated with Toyota since 1968 and currently owns three Toyota franchises and three Lexus franchises.
