HT Motorsports has competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for four years with such drivers as three-time NEXTEL Cup Champion Darrell Waltrip, three-time Busch Series Champion Randy LaJoie, Stacy Compton and Steve Parks. The Martinsville race in October 2006 marked the 100th Craftsman Truck start for HT Motorsports. Last year, the team ran eight NCTS races with a Toyota Tundra. Their first race with a Tundra was at New Hampshire with Chad Chaffin behind the wheel. Team Owner Jim Harris has been involved in some form of motorsports for over 30 years. He is the president of Harris Trucking and also the primary sponsor of the No. 59 Harris Trucking Toyota Tundra entry. Harris has long been a part of the sponsorship component of many racers' careers and is enjoying his involvement in the Craftsman Truck Series.
