What do you think of the Chicagoland track?
"It's a very nice track -- it's big and fast and wide. It always gets widened out where you can run both the high groove and the low groove."

How was your qualifying run?
"In practice, we struggled a little bit, but we kept on getting better and better and better. It kept getting tight in turns three and four because something was bottoming out. All we did was raise it up (for qualifying) and it made the car better. I'm glad that got us in and we'll be able to race it on Sunday. It's a shame we didn't start right where we ended right there -- because we probably would have been a little better in qualifying."

What do you think of the Chicagoland track?
"This is my favorite race track. I like coming here, I've always run well here and have qualified pretty decent. I seem to run well here and have had some luck here, too."

DAVID REUTIMANN, No. 00 Burger King Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing

How was your qualifying run?
"The car has driven good every since we started running today. We just can't seem to get any speed out of it, for some reason and I'm confused as to why that is. Each time we went out we got faster and faster, but we just can't seem to gain as much as some of these other guys do. I drive the thing off in there deep and get back on the throttle early on exit. I don't know where we're missing it at. Every time we went out it was as hard as I could go. I knew we had to pick it up, but I really didn't know what to expect. We made some changes -- some small stuff and some air pressure changes. It improved, but not quite to the extent we needed it to. I'm glad we're in, but if we could have run a .50, I would have done a tap dance on the roof."

MICHAEL WALTRIP, No. 55 NAPA Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing

How was your qualifying run?
"This is our Michigan car -- the car that we qualified and ran well with at Michigan. We just didn't have the speed today that we had at Michigan. At Michigan, I went out to qualify and I knew that if I didn't mess up I was going to be in the show because I had that type of speed. Here, I had to throw it all out there. I had to go for it. I was able to push the car hard and it stuck -- the motor ran good and everything came together and we got in the show. With our group, I think we're beginning to show better results and I look forward to racing on Sunday."

What about the No. 44 team?
"The No. 44 (Dale Jarrett) had a brand new car here -- that was the best car we've built as far as the wind tunnel goes -- he needed a tenth of a second and we would have had all three cars in the race. Dale didn't get that tenth of a second and we'll just go home and study that team -- and see how we can all come together and help that group."

AJ ALLMENDINGER, No. 84 Red Bull Toyota Camry, Team Red Bull

What happened during qualifying?
"I don't know what happened. I just didn't get it done today. I scraped the wall on turn four on my first qualifying lap and that probably lost us two-tenths. I feel horrible for my crew -- they deserve to be in this race."

BRIAN VICKERS, No. 83 Red Bull Toyota Camry, Team Red Bull

What happened during qualifying?
"That lap right there was as hard as I could drive that car. That's not the time I thought I ran at all. When I came across that line I thought I ran more around a 29.75 (seconds), but as you can see, I was far off from that. I was running on the bottom for that lap, but it was just all I had. It's really been a roller coaster over the past few weeks. Between getting into the Loudon race and then getting disqualified during inspection, then seeing we didn't have the speed in the Daytona race only to get saved by the rain and now this. It's been rough."
