Bill Davis and wife Gail own a successful trucking company based in Batesville, Ark. and are longtime NASCAR team owners. This season marks Bill Davis Racing’s 19th year overall in NASCAR competition. Davis became involved in racing back in the early ’80s through a longtime friend Julian Martin (father of Mark Martin). After providing years of technical support, Davis tried his hand as a NASCAR team owner and hasn’t looked back since. In 2007, BDR will field three Toyota Tundras in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and two Toyota Camrys in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series.
