Growing up in Crandon, Wis. — the birthplace of the SODA series, precursor to the Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) Series — Jeff Kincaid was destined to race in the dirt and mud. While his fate might have been set by geography, it was his talent in racing and building trucks that has made him one of the great short-course, off road racers of all time.

Kincaid built and raced his first truck in 1989, and he went on to win the SODA class 7s race at the Brush Run 101 World Championship Off Road Races. The following seasons saw Kincaid finish consistently in the top 10. In 1993, he finished second overall in class 7s to his friend and racing rival Johnny Greaves. After battling each other over the next five years, Kincaid and Greaves joined forces in 1997 to form the two-truck Forest County Potawatomi Toyota team. In their first year together, Kincaid and Greaves won an incredible 19 of 20 events. During the 1998 and 1999 seasons, the duo took the top two spots in the CORR Pro-Lite class in their superior Toyota Tacoma trucks.

The new millennium brought substantial changes to the team as Greaves built a new full-size, 2-wheel-drive Toyota Tundra to compete in the Pro-2 class, and Kincaid built a new race shop at his home near Crandon. This allowed Kincaid extra development time with his new Pro-Lite Forest County Potawatomi Toyota Tacoma, which paid off immediately during the 2000 CORR season. Kincaid established a record with five consecutive wins to start a season, which he parlayed into a record 12 wins in 18 events.

Kincaid’s accomplishments earned him the Precision Gear Driver of the Year Award and Honorable Mention in the “At Large” category of the 2000 American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association (AARWBA) All-American Team award.

In 2001, Kincaid wrapped up his second straight Pro-Lite Championship with four wins (most in the class) and nine top-five finishes.

Kincaid earned his third straight Pro-Lite title in 2002 with five wins and his fourth straight in 2003. His unequalled four-year run helped Toyota earn the Pro-Lite Manufacturer’s Championship for seven consecutive years (1997–2003).

2005 was another banner year for Kincaid. He accepted his fifth Pro-Lite title with five wins and 11 top-five finishes. He also helped Toyota win the Pro-Lite Manufacturer’s Championship.

In 2006, Jeff won eight of the first ten races. Mechanical problems plagued him for the remainder of the races, but he still had a large enough lead that he finished second in the Series’ points championship.

He has earned a total of 44 CORR Series victories since 1998.

What's New?
For the 2008 season, Jeff finds his team racing both Championship Off Road Racing and World Series of Off Road Racing in order to gain more exposure for the sponsors involved. To maintain the level of Success that Kincaid has achieved in the past, Jeff added a new sponsor to an already powerful Pro-Lite team. Along with the Forest County Potawatomi, Toyota, and BFGoodrich, Traxxas will also be showcased nation wide in an effort to take the championship in both series. Traxxas, The Fastest Name in Remote Control, will be a perfect fit to accommodate Kincaid's existing sponsors.

Who is Traxxas?
Traxxas is a world renowned manufacturing company of remote control Trucks & cars located in Plano, TX. With their progressive thinking, enthusiasm to rise to the top and their marketing ability as a company will help bring everyone involved to the next level. "There is not a better way for our youth to get involved with racing than to practice hand eye coordination with a Traxxas RC car," explains Jeff.
