Mike Skinner will return to the streets of Long Beach to defend his 2007 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race ‘Pro’ Category win.

In 2007, Skinner finished second in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship standings after a fierce points battle with eventual winner Roy Hornaday, Jr. Skinner claimed five wins, 17 top-five finishes and 20 top-10 finishes during the season. For the third consecutive year he led the series in most pole positions in a single season with 11 in 2007.

Skinner moved east to North Carolina and garnered his first NASCAR Cup win at the age of 28. Nine years later, he found himself racing full-time in NASCAR and went on to post eight wins, 17 top-five finishes and 18 top-10 finishes en route to the 1995 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) Championship.

Highlights:

• Holds the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series record of 11 pole positions in one season (2007)
• First NCTS champion and currently ranks third on the all-time NCTS list with 19 wins and 32 poles
• NASCAR Winston Cup Series ‘Rookie of the Year’ (1997)
