Biography

Placed fourth overall to earn 2007 Rolex Series Rookie of the Year honors with one victory and 10 top-five finishes despite not having a full-time ride in the previous two seasons. Raced pre-dominantly in the open-wheel ranks prior to last season. Began racing karts in Mexico before climbing the open-wheel ladder. Raced extensively in the U.S. while coming up. Was a two-time Barber Dodge Series championship runner-up before moving to Europe to race in Formula 3 competition. Also has experience in Champ Car Atlantics, Mexican Formula 3, Formula Ford and Formula Renault. Last year’s Mexico City race was the first time Rojas had competed at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodgriguez track in his hometown.
