Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) works with ABS to optimize the distribution of brake force to help maintain vehicle control.

Brake Assist
If the brake pedal is suddenly and rapidly depressed, the system detects this and Brake Assist [18] helps the driver by generating a greater brake force.

TRAC is a traction-control system that uses Highlander’s advanced braking technologies to help control wheelspin when starting or accelerating on a slippery surface.
