All Your Favorite Stations on AM/FM Radio

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

Radio mode has a mix preset function, which can store from any of the AM, FM or SiriusXM Radio (if equipped) bands.

  1. Turn on the audio unit by pressing the "PWR/VOL" knob
  2. Press the AUDIO button on the faceplate
  3. Touch Source
  4. Touch the radio band you prefer
  5. Touch Source to select another band

Tune the Radio and Set a Preset

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

  1. Manual tuning: Search for a desired radio station by turning the "TUNE/SCROLL" knob
  2. Preset tuning: Touch and hold one of the mix preset channels on the left side of the screen to set the station you are currently listening to as a preset. The screen button is highlighted and the station frequency will appear on the preset channel after the beep.
  3. Seek tuning: Press the ∧ SEEK/∨ TRACK buttons on the faceplate. The radio will seek for and tune to the next available station. Each time the button is pressed, the stations will be searched automatically, one after another.

iPod®/USB 2.0/Aux

Connect an iPod®

Connecting an iPod®  using the USB port enables users to enjoy music or other iPod® content via the vehicle's speakers.

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

  1. Open the cover of the USB/Aux port and connect an iPod®
  2. The actual position of the USB port may differ depending on the vehicle. For details, see the pictorial index of the vehicle's Owner's Manual.
  3. The iPod® will begin playing and song information will be displayed
  4. Touch Source to select an alternate source

Play an iPod®

The title of the album and song you are currently listening to will be displayed, as well as the album art if available.

  1. Touch || to pause the track
  2. Touch > to resume playing the track
  3. Press and release the ∧ SEEK/∨ TRACK button to advance to the next track or go back to the previous track

Connect a USB Device

  1. Open the cover of the USB/Aux port and connect a USB memory device
  2. The actual position of the USB port may differ depending on the vehicle. For details, see the pictorial index of the vehicle's Owner's Manual.
  3. Plug in memory device
  4. Music will begin playing

Switch to USB Mode

  1. Press the AUDIO button on the faceplate
  2. Touch the Source tab
  3. Touch USB on the screen (If USB has been named, such as “My Music,” that name may appear instead of USB on the display screen. Select that name to play it.)

Play USB Memory Device

  1. The song you are currently listening to will be displayed
  2. Touch II to pause the song
  3. Press and hold the ∧ SEEK/∨ TRACK button to fast-forward or rewind. When you release the button, the player will start playing from that position.
  4. Press and release the ∧ SEEK/∨ TRACK button to advance to the next track or go back to the previous track

Connect an Auxiliary Device

  1. Open the cover of the USB/AUX port and connect an auxiliary cable
  2. Music will play automatically when connected (Note: Ensure the device connected is in Play Mode)
  3. Or, touch Source or press Audio button
  4. Touch AUX on the screen
  5. Only the volume can be adjusted using the audio system controls. The remaining controls need to be operated on the portable audio device.

CD/MP3/WMA/AAC

Insert a Disc

  1. Insert a disc with the label side up
  2. When a disc is correctly inserted into the slot, the CD player will automatically start playing from the first track or the first file in the first folder on the disc

Eject a Disc

  • Press the eject icon or ∧ button on the faceplate. The disc will be ejected.

Switch to CD Mode

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

  1. Press the AUDIO button on the faceplate
  2. The audio system turns on in the last mode used
  3. Touch Source
  4. Touch CD on the screen
  5. If a CD-TEXT disc is inserted, the title of the track and disc currently being played will be displayed
  6. Touch || to pause the track
  7. Touch > to resume playing the track
  8. Press and release the ∧ SEEK/∨ TRACK button to move forward or back to the next song

iTunes® Tagging

iTunes® Tagging

With iTunes® Tagging, all you have to do when you hear a song you like on an HD Radio  station is tag it with just the press of a button and then purchase it later via iTunes®.

Sometimes you hear a song on the radio you'd like to remember so you can buy it later. Now, with iTunes® Tagging, when you hear a song you like on an HD Radio station, you can tag it with the press of a button and purchase it later via iTunes®.

How to Tag a Song (in AM/FM mode only while listening to an HD Radio station)

  1. In HD Radio mode, when you hear a song you want to tag, touch Tag on the screen
  2. Next time you connect your iPod® or iPhone®, via USB, the tagged song information will be transferred to your device
  3. If your iPod® or iPhone® device is already connected via USB, the songs will be tagged and transferred immediately
  4. When you sync your device with your iTunes® account, the tagged songs will appear in a special folder, allowing you to review your tagged songs and decide whether or not you want to purchase them
  5. Note: Tagged songs will be transferred to the first iPod® or iPhone® device connected to the vehicle. The audio unit does not store tagged songs. Once the tagged songs are downloaded, they are removed from the audio unit. Note: A max of 50 songs can be tagged at one time.

SiriusXM® Radio

Listen to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio

SiriusXM® Satellite Radio  delivers over 170 channels of sports, news, talk and commercial-free music, all in amazing digital sound.

To listen to a satellite radio broadcast in the vehicle, a subscription to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio is necessary. SiriusXM is a tuner designed exclusively to receive broadcasts provided under a separate subscription. Availability is limited to the 48 contiguous United States and some Canadian provinces.

  1. Turn on the audio unit by pressing the "PWR/VOL" knob
  2. Press Audio
  3. Touch Source
  4. Touch XM on the "Select Audio Source" screen

Selecting a channel from the list:

  1. Touch Channel List
  2. Touch the desired program genre
  3. Touch the desired channel and select “OK”

Touch Type > to go to the next category or < Type to go back to the previous category.

Preset a Station

  1. Tune the desired channel
  2. Touch Add New on the preset list. If you do not see an Add New slot, scroll down for more. The maximum number of presets is 36.

To change the preset channel to a different one, select and hold the preset station/channel for approximately two (2) seconds. A beep will confirm the station has been saved.

Is SiriusXM® Satellite Radio part of Entune® App Suite?

SiriusXM® Satellite Radio is not part of Entune® App Suite. SiriusXM® Satellite Radio services require a valid SiriusXM® subscription and are sold separately by SiriusXM®. On select Toyota models, three months of complimentary SiriusXM All Access service are available.
