See Traffic in Area

Note: “Press” refers to a physical button on the multimedia system faceplate. “Touch” refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen. A paid XM Data Services subscription is required to use XM NavTraffic.

  1. Press the □ button on the bottom of the faceplate
  2. Touch Info
  3. Touch Traffic Incidents
  4. A list of traffic incidents near your current location will appear
  5. Information includes incident location and distance to incident
  6. Use up/down arrows to scroll to a different incident
  7. Touch a desired incident to see more information
  8. Screen will split and show detailed information on incident on left, and map location of incident on right side
  9. Touch Detail for more information
  10. Touch return arrow button twice to return to the main incident screen

Access Traffic Incidents by Voice Command

Note: “Press” refers to a physical button on the multimedia system faceplate. “Touch” refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen. A paid XM Data Services subscription is required to use XM NavTraffic.

  1. Press the push-to-talk (use push-to-talk icon) button on the steering wheel
  2. Say “Traffic,” or “How is the traffic?”
  3. The system will prompt you with choices and then list the traffic incidents


XM NavWeather

  1. Press the □ button on the bottom of the faceplate
  2. Touch Info
  3. Touch XM NavWeather
  4. A radar-like weather image for the current area appears
  5. Touch + or to zoom in or out of the area
  6. Touch anywhere on map to see radar-like weather image for that area
  7. Touch Current Location to return map to current area

Find Weather Forecast by City

  1. Press the □ button on the bottom of the faceplate
  2. Touch Info
  3. Touch XM NavWeather
  4. A radar-like weather image for the current area appears
  5. Touch Forecast
  6. Touch desired city
  7. Cities can be searched more quickly by using alphabetized categories on right side of the screen
  8. Use up/down arrows to scroll through a list of cities
  9. Weather forecast lists weather conditions for current time, and next three days
  10. Touch date to find more information for that particular date
  11. Information is split by day/night
  12. Forecast information includes current and projected conditions
  13. High/low temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius readings (information is updated every 25 minutes; the time that information was received is noted at the top of the vehicle touch-screen display)
  14. Touch return arrow button twice to find another city


XM Sports

Add a Sports Team

  1. Press the □ button on the bottom of the faceplate
  2. Touch Info
  3. Touch XM Sports
  4. Touch Options
  5. Touch Add Sports Team
  6. Select a sport: MLB, NFL, NBA or NHL
  7. Use up/down arrows to scroll for teams
  8. Touch desired team
  9. A prompt on the vehicle touch-screen display will ask you to confirm if you want to add this team. Touch Yes to add team.
  10. Touch return arrow button to return to main XM Sports screen


XM Stocks

Add a Stock

  5. Touch Add Stock
  6. Enter stock symbol by the touch keyboard and touch OK
  7. Touch return arrow button to return to main XM Stocks screen
