Indicates that Eco drive mode has been selected. When the vehicle is driven in Eco drive mode, vehicle driving
force and operation of the air conditioning system is controlled to improve fuel efficiency.

When Eco drive mode is turned on, the ECON indicator will come on. Press the switch once more to cancel the Eco drive mode. Eco drive mode helps you to drive within the scope of Variable Economy Zone. Consult your Owner‘s Manual for more details.

Vehicles without the Smart Key system:
This indicator light flashes after the key has been removed from the engine switch to indicate that the system is operating. The indicator light stops flashing after the registered key has been inserted into the engine switch to indicate that the system has been canceled.

Vehicles with the Smart Key system:
The indicator light flashes after the POWER switch has been turned OFF to indicate that the system is operating. The indicator light stops flashing after the POWER switch has been turned to ACCESSORY or ON mode to indicate that the system has been canceled.

If the vehicle is in danger of slipping or rolling backwards on an incline, or if the four wheels spin, the indicator flashes to indicate that the VSC/TRAC systems have been engaged. The slip indicator light flashes when ABS is operating.

Your vehicle is equipped with a front passenger occupant classification system. This system detects the conditions of the front passenger seat and activates or deactivates the devices for front passenger. The "airbag on" or "airbag off" light illuminates to keep the driver and front passenger advised of the system‘s status.

Tire pressure warning light
When the light comes on:
Low tire inflation pressure

Correction procedure
Adjust the tire inflation pressure (including the spare tire) to the specified level. The light will turn off after a few minutes. In case the light does not turn off even if the tire inflation pressure is adjusted, have the system checked by your Toyota dealer.

When the light comes on after blinking for 1 minute:
Malfunction in the tire pressure warning system

Indicates that TRAC and/or VSC have been disabled.

If the vehicle gets stuck in fresh snow or mud, TRAC and VSC may reduce power from the hybrid system to the wheels. You may need to turn the system off to enable you to rock the vehicle in order to free it.

Turning off TRAC:
Quickly push and release the button to turn off TRAC. The TRAC OFF indicator light should come on. Push the button again to turn the system back on.

Indicates that one of the turn signals has been activated.

Turn signals can be operated when:

Vehicles without smart key system:
The engine switch is in the ON position (vehicles without the Smart Key system)

Vehicles with smart key system:
The POWER switch is in ON mode (vehicles with the Smart Key System)

If the indicators flash faster than usual, check that a light bulb in the front or rear turn signal lights has not burned out.

Eco-friendly driving can be achieved by driving within the scope of Variable Economy Zone.

Variable Economy Zone will come on when shift lever is in D.

Variable Economy Zone will go off when the shift lever is shifted to a position other than D.

Indicates that the TRAC and/or VSC systems have been disabled.

If the vehicle gets stuck in fresh snow or mud, TRAC and VSC may reduce power from the hybrid system to the wheels. You may need to turn the system off to enable you to rock the vehicle in order to free it.

Turning off TRAC and VSC
Push and hold the button while the vehicle is stopped to turn off TRAC and VSC. The TRAC OFF and VSC off indicator light should come on. Push the button again to turn the system back on.

Should a safety system light such as the ABS and SRS airbag warning lights not come on when you start the hybrid system, this could mean that these systems are not available to help protect you in an accident, which could result in death or serious injury. Have the vehicle inspected by your Toyota dealer immediately if this occurs.

Yellow icons indicate an item of importance (such as low fuel), but are not necessarily a warning.
