Team Toyota is coming off a successful 2018 campaign in Formula DRIFT that ended with a manufacturer title and down to the wire run for the driver’s championship. Between the four Toyota Formula DRIFT drivers, they earned two wins and seven podium finishes in the eight-race season.Below is a look at the 2019 Team Toyota roster for Formula DRIFT:
No. 151 Papadakis Toyota Corolla Hatchback: Fredric AasbøFredric Aasbø heads into 2019 as one of the top competitors in Formula DRIFT history. Aasbø already holds the record for most Formula DRIFT wins in history, with 12 trophies on the mantle. If that isn’t impressive enough, the Corolla Hatchback driver has finished first or second in the final points standings every year since 2014. The “Norweigan Hammer” finished just short of a driver title a season ago, placing just four points behind the eventual 2018 champion with an epic sprint to the finish in the season finale at Irwindale Speedway. He has one championship (2015) and is looking to earn his second Formula DRIFT title this season behind the wheel of his Toyota Corolla Hatchback.
No. 411 Nameless Performance Toyota 86: Ryan TuerckAfter finishing sixth in the Formula DRIFT points standings, Ryan Tuerck is ready to take his 2019 campaign to a new level. Tuerck had two final four finishes in 2018 – including a season-best finish of runner-up at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington. He has three career wins and aims to add to that total in 2019 behind the wheel of his Toyota GT86.
No. 21 Team GReddy Racing Toyota 86: Ken Gushi

While Gushi has earned numerous accolades throughout his career, he continues to search for his first career championship and hopes his results in 2019 will lead to a title run.
