Fredric Aasbo finished second on Saturday and Ryan Tuerck was scored in third on Sunday to lead two solid races at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington over the weekend.

On Saturday, Aasbo drove to his second podium finish in his GR Toyota Supra after scoring a victory to start the season. Aasbo had to defeat his teammate Tuerck in the round of 16 before going all the way the final round before coming up just short.

"There are no easy battles in this series," said Aasbo, who advanced out of the opening bracket to face his teammate Ryan Tuerck in the Top 16. "You have to be ready to go to war the second you get to the track and fight hard through every step of the ladder."

On Sunday, Tuerck had another solid race as he finished third and moved back into the points lead. It was Tuerck’s third appearance in the final four this season.

"I don't think I had a battle today where there wasn't contact," said Tuerck at the podium on Sunday. "Today was just straight carnage and it feels great to be up here on the box after a rough round like this."
