Truex looks to continue winning ways
Martin Truex Jr. has tallied no less than four victories each of the last four seasons in the NASCAR Cup Series, winning the 2017 series championship and finishing runner-up the last two years. Entering his ninth season driving a Toyota, Truex returns for his second season at Joe Gibbs Racing with a new crew chief, James Small.

- 2019: In his first season with Joe Gibbs Racing, Truex led the Cup Series with seven wins, including sweeping the pair of Richmond Raceway races and the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte on Memorial Day weekend. He finished second in the final standings – his third consecutive top-two points finish.
- 2018: Competed in Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway for a second-consecutive year, finishing runner-up to former Camry driver Joey Logano.
- 2017: Won the NASCAR Cup Series championship after tallying a career-best eight wins.
