It was a battle of the brothers on Saturday night at Kentucky Speedway as Kyle Busch raced his brother, Kurt, in overtime to score a runner-up result. The two drivers were side-by-side on the final lap before Kyle Busch relinquished the lead after a hard-fought battle in Turns 3 and 4.

“I’m glad it was a thriller,” said Busch. “It’s just unfortunate we were on the wrong end of the deal. It’s obviously cool to put on great races and great finishes and I’ve been a part of a lot of them and not very many, in fact none, with my brother like that. That was a first. No hard feelings.”

Busch led a race-high 72 laps (of 269) and won the second stage of the race before coming to the finish line a mere 0.076 seconds behind the race winner.

Erik Jones (third) scored his third top-10 finish in four races while Denny Hamlin (fifth) also finished in the top five.
