All five Toyota Camrys placed in the top 10 in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday. It was the second time this year that five Toyotas finished in the top 10 as they accomplished the same feat at Sonoma Raceway in June.
Denny Hamlin finished in the runner-up position after an exciting battle with race winner Kevin Harvick that left the two cars side-by-side throughout much of the last lap. Although Hamlin tried valiantly, he crossed the finish line in second place as the highest-finishing Toyota driver. In total, Toyota drivers led 78 percent of today’s race with Kyle Busch also pacing the field for a race-high 118 laps and Erik Jones leading four laps.
Jones finished behind Hamlin in third while Matt DiBenedetto (fifth), Martin Truex Jr. (sixth) and Busch (eighth) also finished in the top 10.
