Tundra Young Guns Do Battle At Dover

May 3 2019 #18 NGOTS Toyota Tundra at Dover International SpeedwayTundra Young Guns Do Battle At Dover
May 3 2019 18-year old, Harrison Burton battled for the lead on several occasions to take third at Dover International speedway
The Monster Mile that is Dover International Speedway didn’t hesitate to challenge the young contingent of Toyota Tundra drivers in the field for Friday afternoon’s NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series race. 18-year old, Harrison Burton battled for the lead on several occasions including making a rare and aggressive move taking his Tundra three wide twice – not usually something that works out well on the concrete mile.

“I think that if anyone had the run that I did, they would try it and if not, then I don’t think they should be out here,” said Burton. “It's kind of what race car drivers do, we do things that probably aren’t smart, but they’re fun. I enjoy that and enjoy that opportunity to

have a truck good enough to get runs like that and put it three-wide.”
May 3 2019 Kraus finished eighth in the race at Dover International Speedway
Bill McAnally Racing also showcased a top-10 performance with 17-year old Derek Kraus. Kraus finished eighth in the race, but definitely has a unique perspective on this challenging race track.

“Dover is definitely it’s own animal – when they say this place is Bristol on steroids, they mean it,” said Kraus. “It’s a fast track and feels like a gorilla is on your back pushing down in the corners.”

The NGOTS will return to action next weekend at Kansas Speedway.
