Austin Hill Rallies for Third at Kansas Speedway

Saturday, October 21, 2020, Austin Hill finishes third at Kansas SpeedwayAustin Hill Rallies for Third at Kansas Speedway
Austin Hill overcame adversity to finish third in Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway. Hill was followed to the line by four Team Toyota teammates who finished inside the top-10.

Hill sits 19-points above the Playoff cutline. “It was a good run for us. Our Toyota Tsusho Tundra was really good before we got damage at the end of stage two,” Hill said. “It’s good for us to rebound and get the position that we thought we should have gotten. We had a shot at winning today, but once we got the damage, our aero was just way too loose and it just changed the truck completely. All in all, a good day for us and we’ll go on to the next one.”

The Truck Series heads to the Lonestar State for action at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, October 25th. Coverage begins at 12:00 p.m. ET on FS1 and can be heard on MRN Radio as well as Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.
