Toyota remains committed to motorsports across multiple disciplines in the United States as the world faces the COVID-19 pandemic. We are all looking forward to a return to on-track competition in the coming months and hope all our fans remain safe and healthy.

Below are the official updates from the governing bodies.

NASCAR
 
NASCAR issued an updated statement on March 16 postponing several events, including the Toyota Owners 400 weekend at Richmond Raceway in April. At this point, NASCAR is scheduled to return on track in Martinsville Speedway on May 9th. 
 
NASCAR is committed to completing all 36 events and is currently looking at various options to reschedule. Currently, the races affected: 
 
- Fold of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway
- Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway
- O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway
- Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway
- Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway
- GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway
- Dover 400 at Dover International Speedway

NHRA
 
The NHRA unveiled their new 2020 schedule on March 25, cancelling five events and tentatively resuming racing action in Gainesville, Florida on June 5. The series cancelled events at zMax Raceway in Charlotte, The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Atlanta Dragway, Virginia Motorsports Park and New England Dragway. 
 
With the series moving to a 19-race schedule for the 2020 season, the NHRA also cancelled their Countdown to the Championship format and will return to crowning a champion based on cumulative point standings for the season. Toyota driver Doug Kalitta leads the Top Fuel standings with two races complete.

FORMULA DRIFT
 
The 2020 Formula DRIFT season will now begin at Road Atlanta on May 8-9 as the annual kick-off event in Long Beach, California has been cancelled. Formula Drift is committed to an eight-round championship and is working with the Grand Prix Association about rescheduling or finding an alternative venue. 
 
Road Atlanta will be the kickoff race for the season for the first time since the first season of Formula DRIFT in 2004.

SUPERCROSS
 
Supercross issued a statement on March 13th postponing the season until further notice. The series cancelled events in Indianapolis, Detroit, Seattle, Denver and Foxborough, Massachusetts.
 
The next event on the Supercross schedule is currently scheduled to be in Las Vegas on April 25th.  
 
ARCA
 
The governing body of four championships – the ARCA Menards Series, ARCA Menards Series East, ARCA Menards Series West and the Sioux Chief Showdown Series – has postponed all events through May 3. The series is planning on rescheduling all events.
 
The events affected:
 
- March 14th’s event at Five Flags Speedway for the ARCA Menards Series East
- March 28th’s event at Irwindale Speedway for the ARCA Menards Series West
- April 4th’s event at Bristol Motor Speedway for the ARCA Menards Series East
- April 19th’s event at Salem Raceway for the ARCA Menards Series and Sioux Chief Showdown Series
- April 24th’s event at Talladega Superspeedway for the ARCA Menards Series
- May 2nd’s event at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway for the ARCA Menards Series East
 
USAC/POWRi
 
In dirt racing, the USAC National Midget Series has not cancelled any midget races to date. They are scheduled to be back on track April 10-11 at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. 
 
The POWRi National Midget League also has not cancelled any races to date. They are scheduled to begin racing in Oklahoma on March 26.
