Toyota Announces Entitlements as NASCAR Returns on Track

May 17, 2020, Toyota is the proud sponsor of the Toyota 200 and Toyota 500 this week at Darlington Raceway.Toyota Announces Entitlements as NASCAR Returns on Track

Toyota is pleased to announce two entitlements this week for NASCAR races held at Darlington Raceway. Tuesday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race is the Toyota 200, while Wednesday’s NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) event is now the Toyota 500.

Both of Toyota’s original 2020 NCS  entitlements – the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway and the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway – were canceled as part of the 2020 NASCAR schedule updates due to the COVID-19 pandemic, giving the manufacturer an opportunity to be a part of these newly-scheduled events. The entitlements will allow Toyota to introduce a new message – Today. Tomorrow. Toyota – which highlights Toyota’s commitment across manufacturing facilities, dealerships, service centers and motorsports.

Toyota has achieved high levels of success at Darlington Raceway, including scoring victories in five of the last seven events at the South Carolina track. Erik Jones returns to the track ‘Too Tough To Tame’ as the most recent winner, while Harrison Burton leads the NXS point standings heading into the series’ return on Tuesday.

The Toyota 200 NXS race is on Tuesday, May 19 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on FS1. The Toyota 500 NCS race will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET, and will also be shown on FS1.
