10 Questions with Lawless Alan

Lawless Alan goes through practice at Phoenix Raceway.10 Questions with Lawless Alan
What series and car are you currently in?

I am currently in the ARCA Menards Series West in the #12 AutoParkIt Toyota Camry for BMR.

Describe your first win.

My first win was a great feeling, I had been so close many times before it but to finally get the win secured the idea in my head that I am a frontrunner and I deserve to be here. After that win my
mentality switched from trying to prove myself to having much more confidence about my speed.

What is your favorite workout at the gym?

My favorite workout is V-ups. It’s a core exercise where you lay down with your arms above your head, pick up your feet and arms and touch them together in a V shape, then go back down but do not let you’re feet or arms touch the ground. It is very hard but I have come to love it.

What is your most memorable birthday gift?

My most memorable birthday gift is probably a chemistry set that I got when I was young. I really like science so having a mini lab to attempt chemistry was very fun for me. I never read the directions because I wanted to do it on my own. I never made anything cool but I had a great time trying.

What TV show are you binge watching right now?

Besides racing, what activity do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy playing video games with my friends, and spending time with my friends doing anything.

Who is your racing idol?

I look up to Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon mostly. I have always liked them and I have a huge amount of respect for what they were able to do.

What sports teams are you a fan of?

I am a fan of the Dodgers and the Lakers. I always have been and I probably always will be because I grew up going to those games.

If you weren’t a race car driver, what would you be doing?

I would probably be a mechanical engineer because I love building things and making them work.
