Explore Erin's story below.
September 19, 1992
Growing up in Florida, Erin developed a passion for inline speedskating that lasted for nearly two decades. In 2017, she parlayed her experience on the track into a promising career as an ice speed skater. With just four months’ experience skating on ice, Erin qualified for and competed at the Winter Games in 2018 in PyeongChang. It was there she knew she found her sport.
Speedskating is an incredibly technical sport with many obstacles to overcome. For Erin, her main one is the ongoing process of strengthening her technique. But she welcomes the challenge: She has already seen improvements show in her performance. With her primary race being the 500m, Erin hopes to find success in the 1000m race as well. Motivated by her dad, her coach, and her teammates, Erin is ready to get back into the Olympic arena and show just how far she's come in her pursuit of excellence.
"As a Floridian living in Utah, I need all the help I can get while driving to training sessions in the snow. The RAV4’s all-wheel drive makes me feel like a natural."
“My RAV4 reads road signs and displays information like the speed limit on my dash. It can automatically maintain a safe distance from the car in front of me while on cruise control. And it sends an alert to my phone if I leave a door unlocked.”
The 2021 RAV4 Hybrid’s standard Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) provides all-weather capability and confident on-road driving dynamics. So get ready to make the most of every mile—you might be surprised just how far it takes you.
