Phyllis Campbell
Phyllis Campbell is the Chairman, Pacific Northwest for JP Morgan Chase. She serves on JPMorgan Chase’s Executive Committee and is the firm’s senior executive in Washington, Oregon and Idaho across businesses, representing the firm at the most senior levels to clients.
Previously she was the President/CEO of The Seattle Foundation, the largest Community Foundation in the State, with nearly $600 million in charitable assets. Prior to that she served as President & CEO of US Bank of Washington. Under her leadership from 1993 to 2001, the bank grew through acquisitions and strong marketing initiatives.
Phyllis holds an MBA from the University of Washington's Executive MBA Program, BA in Business Administration from Washington State University, and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, as well as Stanford University’s Executive Management Program. Campbell also holds honorary doctorates from Whitworth College and Gonzaga University.
Phyllis has devoted her time, energy and expertise to countless civic
activities, with a focus on education and human services issues. She now serves
as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Seattle University. She has also
chaired the boards of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the
Association of Washington Business. She currently serves on the boards of Alaska
Air Group, & Nordstrom. She has received many prestigious awards for her
community service work, including the Woman Who Makes A Difference Award from the International Women’s Forum. In 2006, she received the Lifetime
Achievement Award from City Year. She also received the Corporate
Director of the Year from the Northwest Chapter of the National Association
of Corporate Directors. She was also awarded in 2006 the 36th Regents'
Distinguished Alumnus Award from Washington State University. She was
appointed to serve on the Toyota Diversity Advisory Board.
