Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Since 2007, through its "Making Life Easier” program, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) has provided local Boys & Girls Club members, alumni and staff with resources to help ensure that all youth have access to a quality education. TFS has provided $1.4 million in academic scholarships for nearly 400 Boys & Girls Club alumni and staff and supported thousands of middle and high school youth with mentorships, internships and financial or career programs to help them become productive and caring adults.

In an effort to increase the nation's high school graduation rate and the number of students who graduate from a post-secondary education institution with a plan for their future, Toyota partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 2010, to underwrite the curriculum and become the founding partner of Diplomas to Degrees (http://bgca.org/meetourpartners/Pages/toyota.aspx) or d2D. d2D provides all 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs with staff-facilitated college-bound curriculum and experiential fieldtrips. Toyota associates, at all levels of the organization, volunteer with the Clubs, including Senior Vice President of Sales, Product & Marketing at Toyota Financial Services, Mike Groff, who serves as a Board of Trustee for Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
