  • What is Entune?
    Entune 7 encompasses the complete audio display stack of your vehicle - including Bluetooth® 8, voice recognition, USB 11, AUX port, and your display screen. On select models equipped with premium audio head units, you have access to navigation and a rich set of Apps and Data Services, now referred to as the “Entune® App Suite” 7.
  • Which phones are compatible with Toyota Entune®?
    Toyota Entune®7 is compatible with a wide range of mobile phones. Most smartphones with a data plan are compatible,including iPhone® 10, AndroidTM and BlackBerry. Go to for a list of compatible phones or to test your phone’s compatibility.
  • How many different mobile phones can Entune® support?
    You can link up to five different phones to an Entune® account. The primary account holder must send invitation emails to the other four users for them to register. Invitation emails can only be sent while logged  in to your Entune® account.
  • Will Entune® App Suite work if my service carrier is not listed on
    Toyota officially supports the phones and providers listed. Some phones not listed will work with Entune® App Suite 7, but have not been tested by Toyota. For a complete list of compatible phones for the Entune App Suite 7, please visit
  • Will Entune® work with my iPad® 10 or iPod® 10 Touch?
    Only smartphones and feature phones are tested and support Entune®.
  • Can I register for Entune® through my smartphone?
    No, we do not recommend doing so at this time.
  • Do I need a special Toyota application downloaded to my phone?
    Yes, there is a Toyota Entune® mobile application that you'll need for vehicle integration. Once you've registered on-line, you can link to your phone’s app store to download it.
  • What can I control with Entune® when my phone is USB-connected?
    Entune® does not control any apps on your phone except for the Entune® app itself. Therefore, when your phone is connected, you can use any app on your phone with the exception of the Entune® app. The Entune® app is locked out while the phone is connected, so use the in-vehicle controls instead.
  • If my phone is not currently listed, when will it be tested?
    Toyota is currently conducting an ongoing test schedule of new phone models as they become available. Many phones have been tested, and many will never be tested. For a complete list of compatible phones for the Entune App Suite 7, please visit
  • What phones are compatible with Entune?

  • Why can I not find the Toyota Entune app for my Blackberry device?
    Entune App Suite 7 does not currently support Blackberry 7 OS and Toyota does not have any plans in the immediate future to test or support Blackberry 7 OS.
  • How many phone contacts can I store in my audio head unit?
    The total number of contacts is a maximum of 2,500 with a maximum of four phone numbers per contact
  • Is a USB cable connection needed to use Entune App Suite?
    Originally, Entune App Suite 7 required a cable connection for certain head units. On select 2014 model year vehicles, the Entune App Suite can be launched and used via the phone’s Bluetooth® 8 connection without a USB cable. To charge your Android mobile device while using the Entune App Suite 7, you may use the 12v charger or USB port. For Apple products, using the USB port to charge will prevent the Entune App Suite 7 from working; only the 12v charger will work on Apple products when using Entune App Suite 7.
  • What wireless technology is used with Toyota Entune® App Suite?
    Bluetooth® 8 technology is used to connect your smartphone with the Entune App Suite 7
  • Does Entune® App Suite use my phone's data plan for operation?
    Yes, the Entune® App Suite 7 relies on your compatible mobile phone's data plan, thus carrier charges will apply. Each application within Entune® App Suite 7 will have different data usage depending on how often you engage each application. Daily use of Pandora® or iHeartRadio uses larger amounts of data and may have an impact on your cellular data plan. We recommend you understand your phone carrier's data plan so there are no surprises. Many provide a data calculator on their website or you can contact them directly.
  • Do I need a special Toyota application downloaded to my phone to use Entune App Suite?
    Yes, there is a Toyota Entune® App Suite 7 mobile application in the Apple App Store or Google Play (Android) store. Once you have registered for Entune App Suite, pair your phone with the vehicle via Bluetooth® 8 and launch the app
