2.7L 4-cyl. engine

Whatever job you have for it, Tacoma’s more than ready. Its 2.7-liter DOHC 4-cylinder dishes out 180 lb.-ft. of torque at 3800 rpm, thanks to Toyota’s advanced Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), to optimize power and efficiency through the engine’s full range of operation.

Deck Rail System

Once you strap something down with Tacoma's standard Deck Rail System, no magic spell will let it escape. Boasting a C-channel frame on the inside of the left- and right-side deck rails and forward deck rail, each has two sliding, lockable tie-down cleats. Together with the D-ring tie-downs, the system is a showstopper with exceptional versatility for securing cargo in the bed.

Composite bed and D-rings

With its sharp lines and great looks, it’d be easy to confuse Tacoma’s fiber-reinforced Sheet-Molded Composite (SMC) bed for a bedliner. But with better impact strength than steel, and four rock-solid D-rings to lash down your gear, there’s no mistaking it’s there to help your gear stay put.

Trailer-Sway Control

When you’re towing, sometimes the wind kicking up or load shifting causes the trailer to sway. Trailer-Sway Control (TSC) 25 applies brake pressure at individual wheels, and manages engine torque to help maintain control of the trailer.

View Specs

Hill Start Assist Control

Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) 16 is designed to help minimize backward rolling on steep ascents. It is not a substitute for safe driving judgment and practices.

View Specs

Downhill Assist Control

Downhill Assist Control (DAC) 16 automatically and selectively applies the brakes to help a 4WD vehicle “creep” down steep and/or slippery hills at a controlled speed of two to four mph using the ABS wheel-speed sensors and brake actuator. DAC is activated by a button, and only operates in low range on vehicles with a 2-speed transfer case.

Tire Pressure Monitor System

Our advanced Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) 26 comes standard on every Tacoma. Designed to monitor the pressure at all times, it alerts the driver when a tire or tires become underinflated. It’s one more way Tacoma gives you peace of mind wherever the rubber meets the road.

Now it's time for your personal touch. Get started by choosing the model or grade that you'd like, then select your favorite color and get creative with a variety of options and packages.

  1. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, excludes the Delivery, Processing and Handling Fee of $825 for Cars, $885 for Small/Light Trucks (Sienna, RAV4, RAV4 EV, Highlander Gas, Highlander HV, FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, Tacoma and Venza), $1100 for Large Trucks (Tundra), and $925 for Large SUVs (Sequoia and Land Cruiser). (Historically, vehicle manufacturers and distributors have charged a separate fee for processing, handling and delivering vehicles to dealerships. Toyota's charge for these services is called the "Delivery, Processing and Handling Fee" and is based on the value of the processing, handling and delivery services Toyota provides as well as Toyota's overall pricing structure. Toyota may make a profit on the Delivery, Processing and Handling Fee.) Excludes taxes, license, title and available or regionally required equipment. The Delivery, Processing and Handling Fee in AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, OK, SC and TX will be higher. Actual dealer price will vary.
  2. 2015 EPA-estimated mileage. Actual mileage will vary.
  3. EPA-estimated driving range 103 miles when vehicle is fully charged. Excludes driving conditions. Actual mileage will vary.
  4. 2014 EPA-estimated mpg equivalent. Actual mpge will vary based on driving habits, charging practice, battery age, weather, temperature and road/traffic conditions. Battery capacity will decrease with time and use. For more information on mpge and range, please see www.fueleconomy.gov.
  5. 2014 EPA-estimated combined miles per gasoline gallon equivalent. Estimate includes consumption of electricity and gasoline energy during EV Mode operation. Actual results will vary for many reasons including driving conditions and how you drive and maintain your vehicle.
  6. 2014 EPA-estimated 51 city/49 highway/50 combined mpg estimates for Prius Plug-in. Actual mileage will vary.
  7. This floor mat was designed specifically for use in your model and model year vehicle and SHOULD NOT be used in any other vehicle. To avoid potential interference with pedal operation, each mat must be secured with retention hooks/clips. Do not install a floor mat on top on an existing floor mat.
  8. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. Do not exceed any Weight Ratings and follow all instructions in your Owner’s Manual. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. “Added vehicle equipment” includes additional standard/optional equipment and accessories added by the manufacturer, dealers, and/or vehicle owners. The only way to be certain of your vehicle’s exact curb weight is to weigh your vehicle without passengers or cargo.
  9. The backup camera does not provide a comprehensive view of the rear area of the vehicle. You should also look around outside your vehicle and use your mirrors to confirm rearward clearance. Cold weather will limit effectiveness and view may become cloudy.
  10. Concentrating on the road should always be your first priority while driving. Do not use the hands-free phone system if it will distract you. The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are registered trademarks owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such marks by Toyota is under license. A compatible Bluetooth®-enabled phone must first be paired. Phone performance depends on software, coverage and carrier.
  11. Be sure to obey traffic regulations and maintain awareness of road and traffic conditions at all times. Availability and accuracy of the information provided by the navigation system is dependent upon many factors. Use common sense when relying on information provided. Services and programming subject to change. Services not available in every city or roadway; updates may be available at an additional cost from your dealer. See your Navigation System Owner’s Manual for details.
  12. Be sure to obey traffic regulations and maintain awareness of road and traffic conditions at all times. Apps/services vary by phone/carrier; functionality depends on many factors. Select apps use large amounts of data; you are responsible for charges. Apps and services subject to change. See toyota.com/entune for details.
  13. Apps/services vary by phone/carrier; functionality depends on many factors. Select apps use large amounts of data; you are responsible for charges. Apps and services subject to change. See toyota.com/entune for details.
  14. May not be compatible with all mobile phones, MP3/WMA players and like models.
  15. iPod® and iPhone® are registered trademarks of Apple Inc. All rights reserved.
  16. Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) is designed to help minimize backward rolling on steep ascents. Downhill Assist Control (DAC) is designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control and speed on steep, downhill descents. Neither system is a substitute for safe driving judgment and practices. Factors including speed, grade, surface conditions and driver input can all affect whether DAC and HAC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner's Manual for further details. Automatic Transmission models only.
  17. All the airbag (AB) systems are Supplemental Restraint Systems. All ABs (if installed) are designed to inflate only under certain conditions and in certain types of severe collisions: frontal and knee ABs typically inflate in frontal collisions; side and side curtain ABs in side collisions; Roll-Sensing Curtain ABs at a severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The force of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death. See your Owner's Manual for further information/warnings.
  18. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat without switching off the passenger-side airbag. Please see your Owner’s Manual for details.
  19. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) is an electronic system designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether VSC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner's Manual for further details.
  20. Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take full advantage of the benefits of ABS. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake-system maintenance and tire and road conditions.
  21. Smart Stop Technology® operates only in the event of certain simultaneous brake and accelerator pedal applications. When engaged, the system will reduce power to help the brakes bring the vehicle to a stop. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver input can all impact stopping distance. Smart Stop Technology® is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving and does not guarantee instant stopping. Please see your Owner's Manual for further details.
  22. Active front headrests can help reduce the extent of whiplash in certain types of rear-end collisions.
  23. Covers normal factory scheduled service for 2 years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first. See Toyota dealer for details and exclusions. Valid only in the continental U.S. and Alaska.
  24. Does not include parts and fluids, except emergency fuel delivery.
  25. Trailer-Sway Control (TSC) is an electronic system designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether TSC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further details.
  26. The Toyota Tire Pressure Monitor alerts the driver when tire pressure is critically low. For optimal tire wear and performance, tire pressure should be checked regularly with a gauge; do not rely solely on the monitor system. See your Owner's Manual for details.
